~The Busy Singapore~

Yup, here I am. Arrived from Singapore last Monday night (one week already), then stayed at my uncle’s in Damansara. Well, Singapore was the same as the previous trips, except for the never-been-seen amount of people, millions of them on the streets, in shopping complexes, and also the Universal Studios. The disappointment was not being able to enter Universal Studios (tickets for today are SOLD OUT the sign said). Wah, they mentioned FOR TODAY, that was utterly disappointing. But we managed to take a walk around the area, took some pictures. Jadila kan. That is just one day. The other 2 and a half days we walked, cabbed around Orchard Road, Newton Circus, and around the city. Marina Bay Resort (if I’m not mistaken – lazy to google that up) is quite an attraction. You know, the hotels shaped like 3 deck of cards. They held the Amazing Race challenge up there you know. And looking from below, imagining how they did it was just scary. Sekarang pun dah rasa gayat pikir2 balik. A few pics while in Singapore:

With my auntie. I'm wearing IlsyaHijab shawl, ValleyGirl cardigan from Perth, Zara leopard print top, Somerset Bay purple skirt, LV sneaker-boot.
This is the skirt I mentioned in previous ENTRY.

Shawl Arzu, floral top MNG, striped cardigan F21, jeans HellsBells from Perth.
This is the departure at Changi Airport. Wearing Arzu shawl, British India blouse, R&R jeans, LV sneakers.

With sis. Sis is wearing Esprit shawl, F21 Topshop floral top, cardigan (cant remember Topshop), pants (do you wanna know? from Singapore). I'm wearing Somerset Bay shawl, F21 layered top, Somerset Bay cardigan, R&R jeans, LV sneakers

Outfit to KL International Motorshow 2010, which was WEEEEKS ago:

Najjah shawl, Zara silk blouse, red pants (cant remember, it was at Sunway Pyramid btw), Prada flats

Actually i’ve been wanting to share a link of a totally cool blogger, but that would be next time, insyaAllah J wait yah!

~Mulberry, oh Mulberry~

Assalamualaikum J Wah, so happy today, cos I went shopping yesterday, and I found the skirt I’m looking for. Maybe not that thick as I’d imagined, it is more flowy and the colour’s purple! Kinda interesting don’t you think? I’m gonna give out just the clues now, I’ll show them once I wear them next weekend. I’m going to Singapore, which means.. more shopping! Ya Allah, memang tak terkejar dengan current fashion trends. But my husband and I said we’re going to take it easy in Singapore. Take a walk, eat, window shopping (hopefully I can manage), maybe get on rides at the Universal Studios in Sentosa Island?
Yesterday (my weekend here in Kedah, Friday and Saturday), I went to Penang (where I went shopping). Went to the night bazaar at Batu Feringghi, and got myself a Lacoste and Paul Frank’s inspired tshirt at RM 25 total. Ok la kan? I was attracted to a Mulberry inspired sling bag in brown (like cowboy brown). Cantik kot, tapi the first price he gave was RM250. Wah, seems illogical. I bargained for RM 80, but he can’t give me. So I left, feeling so disappointed (crushed L ). Cos I promise myself not to buy a bag if its price is over RM 100. Let it be. Let it be.
Unfortunately, no pix this time. Stay tuned~

~Hana vs Yuna~

Salam semua,
Haven't have the feel to post till now (still is). But I still read the blogs I followed. Really psyched to see (pix only) Yuna vs Hana's event, and all those gorgeous ladies. How I want to dress like all of them. Been thinking of buying myself a maxi skirt, preferably cotton. I haven't worn any long skirts since year 2000, at that moment gypsy skirts. I didn't look any good in them. I have decided not to wear skirts since then. Besides, there was a time girls like to wear ladylike skirts, material: chiffons, A lines. In my opinion, those skirts only suits petites, with slender figures. Not me. Haha.. But with this current trend, using a much thickier material than chiffon , is very eye-soothing (sejuk mata memandang) and comfortable (wear it lose). Do you think I would look short? Cos sometimes I overthink.. I seldomly wear heels (prefer flats), so this might make me look shorter. But hey, there is a guest to YunaHana's event wearing maxi skirts with flats!! (I imagined her in flats – sebab tak nampak pun). She looks so cute. Here's the photo.
Credit to counthethread, amazing pix.
Referring to my previous post, FYI, I’ve watched Harry Potter, and also Rapunzel in 3D. Harry Potter was less interesting than expected. Read the book, so kinda disappointed they left out important stuff. No spoilers here, kot2 ada more details in the second part, mana tau kan J I was reminded why I never want to watch 3D movies EVER. Rapunzel proves it all. 3D is quite dark (with or without the 3D glasses), no details can be seen. I have to strain my eyes to focus on the details of the CGI, but no, blurry gila kot. Not worth the money. This is my second time watching movies in 3D, and I’ll never ever want to watch it again.  But I don’t know. Maybe you guys like to watch in 3D? Tell me. I really really wanna know J

Hey, I’ve bought Vogue British with Emma Watson on the cover. I was attracted to her style, her model face, that’s why I bought it. Here’s a preview.

And this is me going out (nak jugak tunjuk sikit kan J )
polkadotted yellow shawl Arzu, gold top Topshop, grey cardigan Promod, bag LV
 Bye I
