We are now in the month of Ramadhan (already the 2nd day!), which is the month of prosperous rewards and giving, which we should all be grabbing. Even smiling, which is a sunnah, will be rewarded how many times of rewards by Allah s.w.t., like the reward given to the practice of the wajib. Imagine if you fast, perform the solah tarawih, waking up for sahur, recite the al-Quran al-Karim, Qiam during the night (tahajjud), iktikaf in the mosque (for men), and so many more. You can’t imagine what Allah s.w.t. have in store for you this time of the month J So how have we been doin for this past 2 days? Are we fasting only by not eating or drinking? We really shouldn’t be. I’m trying too. Although we try our best to do good things, to do the wajib and sunnah as we possibly can, but are we sincere enough. These are some of the things I would like to share, which I get from Tazkirah Ramadhan in my office:
1. The Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. advise (pemberitahuan) during Ramadhan is to fast during Ramadhan, Qiam (solah tarawih), and to prosper (mendirikan) the night of Lailatul-Qadr (10 final days of Ramadhan).
2. To always istiqomah, ask for Allah’s redha and to be afraid that Allah wouldn’t accept our practice.
3. Say congratulations to the arrival of Ramadhan and to pray that all of our practice during the month is accepted once the arrival of Hari Raya.
4. Ramadhan is the month of abundance of rezeki (fortune) for the faithful.
There are truly much more to be shared, but I don’t know how to tell it properly. I can just point a few things today J Hope we can have a very blessed Ramadhan, and pray that our practice is good enough to be accepted by the Almighty Allah s.w.t.. Wallahu’alam.
Selamat menyambut Ramadan :)
